Newhaven Fort

Reports of the supernatural are all over the fort, with many sightings in the caponier, the tunnel leading to the beach. Staff and visitors describe a presence close by, the sound of soldiers’ boots marching through the corridors, and even air-raid sirens. Tales of a ghostly drummer boy haunt the coastline, and the fort was searched for Lord Lucan after his car was found abandoned in Newhaven in 1974.
