How a night works
You don't need any experience. You need warm layers, an open mind and a willingness to sit in the dark.
- 01
Arrive and brief
Arrive around 8pm. Meet the team, get your briefing and a feel for the building's history before the lights go down.
- 02
Split into small teams
Small groups move around the location so everyone gets time in the key areas, not just the famous ones.
- 03
Run the experiments
Séance, glass moving and automatic writing, alongside thermal imaging, infrared, EMF meters and GhostArk. No experiment is compulsory.
- 04
Decide for yourself
We finish by 1am or 1:30am. The evidence is analysed after the event, but the question is yours: who haunts this place?

Where we investigate
Castles, forts, priories, police cells and theatres across Sussex and Kent. Each one with a history, and a reputation.
Michelham Priory
800 years of history on a moated island, chosen by Most Haunted for its debut show. The grey lady, the Tudor lady and the Black Monk are all reported here.

Built around 1540. Sightings of a white woman go back 70 years, and a robed figure is reported in the basement corridors.

A tall shadow figure, said to be Henry Solomon, Brighton's first Chief Constable, still walks the passageways where he was murdered.

Newhaven Fort
Marching boots, air-raid sirens and a ghostly drummer boy. Most sightings come from the caponier, the tunnel down to the beach.

An exclusive, low-numbers night in the darkest parts of the castle, in a format built around what you couldn't otherwise experience.

Built in the 1430s, with witch marks carved into the woodwork and consistent experiences reported by visitors and custodians.

Pay the full price now and your place is confirmed. Most nights are £55 or £59 per person.
Deposit
£20 holds your place. We invoice the balance a few days before the night, or you can pay it online at any time.

Do I need any experience?
None at all. You'll be with an experienced team all night, and every experiment is optional.
Do I need my own equipment?
No. The latest equipment, including thermal imaging, is available for everyone to use.
What time does it start and finish?
Most nights you arrive between 8pm and 8:30pm and finish by 1am or 1:30am. Exact times are on each event page.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Investigations are for over 18s only.
Can I get my deposit back?
Deposits are refundable up to the date shown on each event page. After that date they can't be refunded.
Is food provided?
Light refreshments are provided through the night.
What should I wear?
Warm layers and comfortable shoes. Old buildings get cold after midnight and you'll be on your feet.
